Hall of Fame

The EMERALD COAST VOLLEYBALL HALL OF FAME
Recognizing people and teams that have made our events successful.

TIM EDWARDS

As Vice President of Fudpuckers, Inc., Tim has been the driving force behind the success of all of  the Emerald Coast Volleyball events. It is his attention to detail and belief that the customers always come first that have made these events successful and unique.
Tim would not allow us to induct him into the Hall of Fame last year, so this year we didn't ask.

TEAM MANGOS

Team Mangos have won as many tournaments as any other Men's Open team and have contributed greatly to the fan base of the Emerald Coast events. Always a favorite to win among the folks from a certain city in Louisiana, Team Mangos has had a few player changes over the years but always entertain and display excellent sportsmanship.

MARSHALL FAMILY

The Emerald Coast events have had a large impact on the Marshall family. Ken and Diana are long time players here, dated here, played as a couple here, and most importantly conceived their children here. (Thanks Diana for that tidbit)

JANET WEIMER

Although Janet's last name has changed many times over the years she has continued to come and hound tournament director, Mike. Janet has won the Coed Best of the Beach tournament more than any other player and always enjoys herself and is a good friend to all.

THE FABULOUS SHELDON

What can you say? If you know one person at these events its Sheldon. Always dressed well, well always dressed, Sheldon is also a great friend to all and certainly stands out in a crowd, not to mention a pretty good volleyball player.

Special Guests
JOE & EVELYN GARCIA

Visiting us this year from their home in Seattle, WA, Joe & Evelyn are long time friends of tournament director, Mike Minich and have helped shape the events through their influence on him by always displaying great attitudes and respect for everyone.
(Joe was Mike's first volleyball partner back in the dark ages.)
