This is the new airport at Athens the tower in the background is the first site you see when you arrive.   This is the lobby at the airport. It was not very crowded this day.
 
This is Monastriaki square. It is just outside the ancient city of Agora. Notice the Acropolis in the background. On Sunday morning it is jammed with vendors selling everything in the world.   This is one of the entrances to the Athens Flea Market off of Monastriaki Square. Lots of shops and tourists, and now lots of Olympic people.

Right in the middle of this modern downtown street stands this ancient building in Monastriaki.   BMW motorcycle with a roll cage.
